"What a wonderful week. James and Olivia have created a truly special, relaxing place for a family holiday. Ferme du Cayla offers many of the perks of a much larger hotel complex but in the charm |of a peaceful, welcoming smaller setting. A delightful breakfast spread, top quality lunches and dinners (what a treat to not have to cook all week!) a daily kids club, 2 wonderful pools, hot tub, play areas - it’s all there. ||The evenings were wonderful, centring around their beautiful ‘village square’ with gorgeous views. We would all gather for drinks and olives at the bar in the warm evening sun. The kids were served first - a lovely home-cooked child friendly meal, and then would run off happily for a film in kids club, while the adults had a delicious three course meal and sipped wine in the outdoor restaurant. Perfect. It really was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had as a family of 5. ||Local area was also nice. We particularly enjoyed the high rope adventure nearby (which has activities for 2 years old upwards) a stroll around Figeac and the mini boats, also the animal park in Gramat.||Several guests were booking for next year already. I’m sure we’ll also be back. If you’re thinking of booking, I’d highly recommend."

"We've just returned from a week's stay here with our two children (5 & 2) and we had a fantastic time. James and Olivia are incredibly welcoming and have worked so hard to make this a truly unique place to stay. There was plenty to keep us all busy all week, although we did venture out to Figeac and the local forest ropes course just to see a bit more of the area. The setting is perfect, with beautiful views over the valley to enjoy whilst eating evening meals. The outdoor pool was great, not too cold and the toddler pool is the perfect depth for a 2 year old gain confidence in the water. Food was freshly made and delicious, and kids club was a real hit with our kids who are usually a bit reluctant to join in with activities like this. Would definitely recommend to families with young children, thank you James and Olivia for such a lovely holiday!"

"Just returned from a wonderful relaxing week on the farm with our son and his grandparents. We’re incredibly grateful to James and Olivia who have succeeded in enhancing the traditional gîte holiday we’re used to with the convenience of a catered childcare. It was great to switch off from the responsibility of cooking ourselves and to enjoy a range of fresh and local dishes all served to our door or on the terrace with the other guests and their families. La Ferme Du Cayla was originally a small hamlet of around 5 or 6 houses including the farm and despite significant modernisation and restoration of the buildings it’s still retains this feel. It’s overall size and the fact that it was enclosed gave us a sense of security that the children were never too far away. Despite our gîte being above the children’s crèche rooms we felt that it was private enough and the enclosed terrace gave 180 degree views down the valley. This became quite atmospheric one evening as high pressure led to an immense lightening storm. The rest of the time we enjoyed relaxing here during the heat of the day (in between dips in the pool). In terms of kids stuff - there are rabbits, goats and a tortoise in close proximity to visit and a daily kids club with activities. We also arranged swimming lessons for our son during kids club time which he loved. Lastly the massage included in our package was a lovely treat for all of us. My wife rebooked for a full body ‘gommage’ and said it was the best treatment she’d ever had. Would thoroughly recommend to any young families who want to switch off from the world for a bit. Just wish we’d stayed longer."
