"We had our roof done last summer by Couvreur de l’Est (or some of their subcontractors) and they did a nice clean and organized job. However, the price ended up 10 000$ more, although the bad condition of the roof was very visible before hand. So their estimate was not accurate. They also said they would send pictures and they never did. No follow up."

"After 9 years, roof already cracked. DO NOT respect the 15 year warranty which they gave upon signing. I initially decided to go with Couvreurs de L est for my new roof,because of the 15 year warranty. Now after only 9 years I already have water leaking. The company was called in multiple times but never found the problem. Finally the last guy that came found the cracked asphalt. He threw some powdered cement on top and later sent me a bill of 300+/$ stating it was not under warranty. Poor workmanship, and warranty NOT respected. I do not recommend."

"Over priced, not professionnal, one picture for triple the price asked compared to 3 other companies after the estimate. Their estimate sheet is the same as my neighbour who had it done in 2011 but with triple the price, therefore using paste and copy, never took the time to explain. Would never recommend this company to anybody."

"They don't put down much paper ask how much before hand I didn't see it mentioned in my contact. Other companies mention it. 3.55 a square foot repair gets expensive quickly. Besides that their price was good. The finishing is really nice and the roofers are really efficient and clean. It was a very good experience now we will see if the product lasts not convinced yet."

"They worked on my neighbor roof. I have to say, they were attentive with our driveway area as well, they cleaned it well, which is appreciated. While they had to block our entrance (we wish we were advised about this in advance because we need to move out a few times a day), they helped making a passage for our car to move out. One negative is their workers damaged our TV cable at our roof receptor while working on the neightbour roof - ce sont des maisons en rangee avec des toits joints. They didn't mention this and we had to call the Bell technician to fix it - cost us $75. We would appreciate they pay more attention because there are often time satellite 'dishes' on the roofs."
